Program Overview
Welcome to the Transitional Year Residency Program at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
The program was established in 1991 and approximately 70 residents have completed training in this program through 2011. The program is fully accredited and we train four residents per year.
Our program has developed a solid reputation for providing excellent teaching, superb clinical training, and outstanding resident achievement.I hope you find the many resources on this website helpful, but please don't hesitate to contact us with your questions or comments.
