Message from the Director

Blank Children's is the perfect size hospital to train residents - large enough to offer a diverse patient population and variety of subspecialities, but small enough that all residents get to know all the faculty within a short time of joining the residency.

Our program has a friendly atmosphere and faculty is dedicated to teaching and provide one-on-one attention.

There are no fellowship trainees at Blank so residents are responsible for managing their own patients and get to do a lot of procedures.

There are six categorical positions offered each year.

The majority of our graduates enter a career in general pediatrics with about a quarter of graduates choosing subspecialties. Graduates say Blank has prepared them well for fellowship training and many who have sought fellowships obtained positions in excellent, competitive programs.
