Program Highlights

Our program has a strong tradition of preparing residents for careers as general internists, hospitalists and specialists capable of practice in a wide variety of settings.

Primary care, subspecialty and hospitalist medicine career training tracks are available which allow residents to develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their chosen career paths.

Over one-third of our graduates have gone on to pursue subspecialty fellowship training. Residents who have sought fellowships have obtained positions in excellent nationally recognized programs.

Our faculty includes an outstanding number of general internists and subspecialists actively involved in one-on-one teaching and mentoring.

We offer eight categorical and two preliminary positions each year.
